Deck overview

This Boros deck executes an aggressive Equipment Voltron strategy led by Bruenor Battlehammer. Bruenor provides two key advantages: a passive +2/+0 buff for every Equipment attached to your creatures and a waived equip cost for the first equip ability activated each turn. The deck establishes early mana acceleration and deploys heavy Equipment like Colossus Hammer, Argentum Armor, and Blackblade Reforged during the opening turns. Once Bruenor enters on Turn 4, he equips for free and attacks on Turn 5 with lethal commander damage enabled by double strike effects from Reyav, Master Smith, Boros Charm, or Embercleave. The list supports this plan with reliable Equipment tutors, card draw from Sram, Senior Edificer and Akiri, Fearless Voyager, and defensive spells searchable through Sunforger.
