Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on Pirate tribal synergies and aggressive combat to generate overwhelming Treasure production under Edward Kenway. In the early turns, it deploys efficient low-curve Pirates and mana acceleration to contest the board and set up combat triggers. Once the commander lands on Turn 5, attacking with tapped Pirates yields an explosive burst of Treasure tokens at each end step. Rather than relying on infinite combos, the deck turns banked Treasures into a decisive victory around Turn 7–8 through direct damage sinks like Crackle with Power, aristocrat-style drain from Marionette Master and Mayhem Devil, or the alternate win condition of Revel in Riches. Its interactive package features versatile Grixis removal and raid-discounted counterspells, giving it tools to disrupt threats while advancing its own board state.
