Deck overview

Golbez, Crystal Collector is a Dimir artifact-matters recursion commander who turns a board of artifacts into repeatable graveyard-to-hand recursion and a life-draining finisher. The deck pairs a heavy Demon tribal package - over twenty Demons including Rune-Scarred Demon, Desecration Demon, and Herald of Anguish - with a dense artifact base of Bobbleheads, artifact lands, and Treasure generation to keep Golbez's end-step trigger online. The primary win conditions are the build-around alt-win enchantments: Liliana's Contract (four Demons with different names), Revel in Riches (ten Treasures), and Mechanized Production (eight artifacts with the same name), backed by combat damage from large flying Demons and Golbez's power-based drain. It is a midrange value deck that grinds card advantage through surveil, recursion, and Treasure tokens before closing with an enchantment.
