Look at all those elves! by Whthrt1

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf-ball deck built to turn Lathril, Blade of the Elves's combat damage into an overwhelming swarm, then kill the whole table in a single turn. The engine is simple and redundant: accelerate with a dense elf-druid package (Priest of Titania, Elvish Archdruid, Marwyn, the Nurturer, Incubation Druid), deploy Lathril early, and convert her menace hits into 1/1 Elf Warrior tokens. Wins come from mass overrun - Beastmaster Ascension, Triumph of the Hordes, Joraga Warcaller, Door of Destinies - or from the life-drain axis of Sanguine Bond combined with Lathril's tap-ten-Elves activation and the Professor Dellian Fel emblem. A real recursion/cheat backbone (Bloodline Bidding, Last March of the Ents, Elvish Piper, Eladamri, Korvecdal) lets the deck rebuild and play a longer game, and Ruthless Winnower plus wipe effects give it a controlling angle against creature decks.
