Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Vivi Ornitier as a versatile mana engine and table-wide win condition. Casting Vivi on Turn 3 sets up an explosive Turn 4. By casting cheap pump spells like Blazing Crescendo or Reckless Ransacking, you place +1/+1 counters on Vivi, deal noncombat damage to each opponent, and massively boost Vivi's power. Activating Vivi's {0} ability then converts that power into a large pool of blue and red mana. With cards like Curiosity or Archmage Emeritus, each cast draws fresh cards, allowing you to cycle through cantrips, rituals, and flashback spells via Past in Flames or Underworld Breach. Opponents take continuous damage from Vivi and secondary pingers like Fiery Inscription and Guttersnipe, or fall to a lethal Crackle with Power. Backed by efficient countermagic and protection, the deck delivers rapid, same-turn storm victories.
