Deck overview

This is a Mardu monarch/control deck helmed by Queen Marchesa, built to seize the monarchy early and convert it into relentless card advantage, token generation, and incremental drain. The primary game plan is to become the monarch, deploy the Court cycle and other monarch payoffs (Court of Grace, Court of Embereth, Archon of Coronation, Custodi Lich, Skyline Despot, Starscream, Power Hungry // Starscream, Seeker Leader), and grind opponents out through a dense package of death-trigger and token-synergy drain effects (Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade). The deck controls the board with a heavy suite of symmetric wipes and edict effects, then closes through combat with token swarms amplified by Exalted Sunborn, or by stealing the table's creatures with Mob Rule and Mutinous Massacre.
