Deck overview

This Sultai deck is built around Kotis, the Fangkeeper, utilizing its indestructible body as a resilient combat platform. The primary game plan accelerates mana on early turns, casts Kotis on Turn 3, and equips or enchants it on Turn 4 with power boosters like Wrecking Ball Arm, Buster Sword, or Fireshrieker alongside unblockable effects like Aqueous Form. When Kotis connects, its combat damage trigger exiles cards from the defending player's library and casts all hits with equal or lower mana value for free, creating massive tempo and board presence. The deck protects its commander using hexproof and ward equipment like Swiftfoot Boots and Winged Boots, alongside spells like Heroic Intervention. Because it wins through sequential combat steps, it focuses on eliminating high-threat opponents first before closing out the game with lethal commander damage, poison counters, or board-wide buffs.
