Deck overview

This mono-red deck leverages Rionya, Fire Dancer to convert cheap cantrips into explosive combat steps. The core strategy revolves around establishing early mana rocks and utility creatures before deploying Rionya on Turn 5. Once Rionya is active, casting one-mana cantrips like Crash Through and Expedite escalates her combat trigger, creating multiple temporary token copies of impactful creatures with haste. The deck finishes games through sudden combat blowouts by cloning massive beaters such as Desert Were-Worm and Scourge of the Throne, or by assembling an infinite extra-combat loop with Lightning Runner when precombat spells generate enough energy. The deck operates primarily at sorcery speed on its own turns, backed by raw card cycling and impulsive draw rather than specific tutors. Its interaction package focuses heavily on direct creature damage and artifact removal, leaving it vulnerable to resolved enchantments, sweepers, and well-timed spot removal targeting Rionya before combat.
