Deck overview

This deck is an Esper midrange strategy centered on Marneus Calgar. It converts token creation into card advantage, flooding the battlefield with Astartes, Soldiers, and artifact tokens. The deck uses efficient mana rocks to deploy Marneus on turn 4 or 5, immediately leveraging token generators such as Black Market Connections, Inquisitor Greyfax, and versatile Squad creatures to refill the hand. Once an army is established, it transitions into decisive pressure on turn 6 using mass evasion and pump spells like Akroma's Will or unblockable life drain from Commissar Severina Raine. A deep suite of efficient removal and countermagic disrupts opposing wins while shielding its own board from sweepers.
