Blight Curse by NCouture1

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund deck is a -1/-1 counter attrition engine helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The commander converts every -1/-1 counter placed on your creatures into a card, turning the deck's core loop - wither damage, ETB counter placement (Soul Snuffers, Skinrender, The Reaper, King No More), and proliferate (Contagion Clasp, Evolution Sage) - into sustained card advantage. The deck grinds opponents down through board control (Archfiend of Ifnir, Midnight Banshee, Kulrath Knight's attack lock), token generation (Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Flourishing Defenses, Grave Titan), and theft (Necroskitter, The Reaper, King No More, Puppeteer Clique). Wins come from an overwhelming swarm of deathtouch snakes and elf warriors, Black Sun's Zenith blowouts, or incremental drain. This is a midrange value deck that wins through attrition and board dominance rather than a single fast combo.
