Deck overview

This mono-blue midrange deck is commanded by Princess Yue, focusing on duplicating the strongest permanents on the board while manipulating the top of the library. Early turns establish mana rocks and utility creatures before casting Princess Yue to provide repeatable scrying. The deck pairs this scry engine with payoffs like Matoya, Archon Elder to generate steady card advantage. In the mid-to-late game, the deck pivots into an extensive clone suite, copying opposing bombs, stealing permanents with Roil Elemental and Agent of Treachery, or locking down spell interaction with Hullbreaker Horror. When Princess Yue is removed, her ability returns her as a Moon land, ramping the deck and maintaining scry utility without commander tax penalties. A rich suite of low-cost counterspells and bounce spells protects the board while myriad clones and combat beatdown gradually eliminate the table.
