Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce leads a Bear tribal deck that aims to amass a board of powerful bears, using his ability to draw cards when three or more Bears are present. The primary plan is to build a sizable army with the help of +1/+1 counters and land-synergy cards, then finish with trample enablers like End-Raze Forerunners or Beastmaster Ascension. The deck includes a number of defense and patience-esque spells to protect its creatures. It scores moderately in consistency thanks to card-draw engines and controlling what you draw, and has moderate resilience, which is helped by recursion elements like Lumra. Interaction is almost exclusively creature-based, limiting responses to noncreature threats.
