Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Grixis spellslinger storm and combo list led by Fire Lord Azula. It combines combat-based spell duplication with fast, compact win conditions. Azula generates two red mana when attacking and copies any spell cast while she is attacking. This ability turns low-cost cantrips, rituals, and removal spells into substantial card advantage and mana velocity. The deck cycles through its library using card-flow engines such as Archmage Emeritus, Rhystic Study, and Ad Nauseam. Its primary win condition pairs Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation for an immediate victory. Alternatively, it can loop rituals and cantrips using Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze to storm out the table with Grapeshot. A strong suite of low-cost and free interaction, including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Deadly Rollick, protects critical combo turns while disrupting opponents.
