Commander: Tiamat

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tiamat is a five-color Dragon-tribal tutor engine. The primary plan is to ramp turns 1-3, resolve Tiamat by turn 4-5, and use its cast trigger to tutor The Ur-Dragon, Atarka, World Render, Terror of the Peaks, and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Secondary paths are explosive mana from Klauth, Savage Ventmaw, and Old Gnawbone fueling back-to-back Dragon casts, plus Ureni and Dracogenesis cheating extra threats. The hidden commander is The Ur-Dragon in the 99, whose eminence discount powers the whole curve. Tiamat's own 7/7 flying body is a solid attacker, but the deck is built around her one-shot tutor; a Tiamat without the cast trigger loses most of the plan.
