Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Curse and Enchantment Control list commanded by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. The primary strategy focuses on deploying debilitating Curses to tax, drain, and disrupt opponents while leveraging Lynde’s ability to recycle Curses from the graveyard to draw extra cards every upkeep. The deck ramps during the early turns with efficient two-mana artifacts and early enchantments before deploying Lynde and tutoring high-impact Auras via Curse of Misfortunes or Bitterheart Witch. Opponents face compounding pressure through cards like Curse of Fool's Wisdom, Curse of Bloodletting, and Court of Ambition, supported by strong stax pieces including Opposition Agent and Dauthi Voidwalker. To secure victory, the deck leverages accumulated drain, Zombie tokens from Curse of Disturbance, an overloaded Torment of Hailfire, or compact combos like Bloodchief Ascension paired with Mindcrank and Thassa's Oracle with Demonic Consultation. Efficient countermagic and removal protect the engine throughout its multi-turn execution.
