Deck overview

This cEDH deck combines the ultra-compact Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation combo with an oppressive Dimir reanimation and control shell. Piloted by The Scarab God, the deck can win as early as Turn 2 or 3 by exiling its library in response to Oracle's trigger, while backing up its plays with premier free counterspells like Force of Will, Pact of Negation, and Fierce Guardianship. When racing is impractical, the deck pivots into reanimating massive game-warping threats such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, or Archon of Cruelty via Entomb, Reanimate, and Animate Dead. Robust card advantage engines like Necropotence, Rhystic Study, Mystic Remora, and The One Ring ensure continuous resources and resilience against interaction. The commander itself serves as an uncounterable late-game mana sink and resilience tool, stealing high-value utility creatures from all graveyards at instant speed.
