Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender leads an aggressive lands-matter and artifact-animating deck. Her static ability turns all nontoken artifacts into lands, while her end-step trigger consistently earthbends your lands into resilient, recurring creature threats. The deck builds value through robust landfall engines like Felidar Retreat, Scute Swarm, and Avenger of Zendikar alongside a suite of alternate Toph variants. You secure victory by turning animated land armies into lethal combat phases using Bumi, Unleashed or Moraug, Fury of Akoum for extra combats, or by granting land creatures double strike and trample through Toph, Greatest Earthbender and Avatar Kyoshi.
