Deck overview

This is a focused Orzhov Aura-politics deck helmed by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The core plan is to flood the battlefield with cheap Auras, turn every opponent's creature into a goaded, taxed, or neutralized threat, and let Eriette's end-step drain convert that Aura count into a life-total clock. Killian, Ink Duelist is the hidden lieutenant: he makes essentially every targeted spell - including nearly all of the Auras - cost {2} less, dramatically accelerating the curve. Card draw comes from Aura-cast triggers on Sram, Senior Edificer, Kor Spiritdancer, and Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor. The deck wins through incremental drain, combat redirected by goad effects, and a handful of large evasive Aura carriers. It also runs a strong anti-aggro pillowfort package and several conditional board wipes that spare its own enchanted creatures. Eriette is important as the life-drain payoff, but the deck can still deploy Auras, goad threats, and draw cards if she is answered.
