Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Gruul extra-combat aggro deck is helmed by Karlach, Fury of Avernus with the Hardy Outlander Background. The game plan is linear but explosive: chain multiple combat phases in a single turn, using Karlach's built-in extra combat and haste enablers to overwhelm opponents. The deck packs eight extra-combat cards (Combat Celebrant, Anzrag, the Quake-Mole, Bloodthirster, Full Throttle, etc.), plus attack-triggered mana from Grand Warlord Radha, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, and Savage Ventmaw to fuel further spells within the same turn. Hardy Outlander pumps a second creature when Karlach attacks the opponent with the highest life, amplifying damage. Nature's Will and Bear Umbra untap lands mid-combat, enabling more pump spells. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage across three opponents; no infinite combos exist, but the deck can kill the table in a single long turn with sufficient board presence.
