Deck overview

This deck is a competitive 5-color Commander build commanded by Sisay, Weatherlight Captain. The strategy uses high-density fast mana and premier mana dorks to deploy Sisay early alongside disruptive stax pieces such as Drannith Magistrate, Lavinia, Azorius Renegade, and Deafening Silence. These pieces slow down opposing turbo and combo decks while leaving Sisay's activated ability uninhibited. Once Sisay and five colors of mana are available, the deck can tutor directly to the battlefield at instant speed. Its primary win condition uses Derevi, Empyrial Tactician and Emiel the Blessed alongside a high-yield mana producer like Bloom Tender or Gaea's Cradle to generate infinite colored mana. Sisay then searches out the entire legendary permanent suite, using Mount Doom alongside Derevi untaps to deal lethal damage to all opponents in a single turn without passing priority.
