Deck overview

Cosmic Spider-Man commands a five-color Spider and Hero kindred aggro deck that aims to assemble an overwhelming, evasive combat force. The deck spends its opening turns developing five-color mana fixing and establishing early Spider beaters and token generators such as Araña, Heart of the Spider, Peter Parker // Amazing Spider-Man, and Spider-Ham, Peter Porker. On Turn 5, casting Cosmic Spider-Man triggers its combat ability immediately, granting the entire Spider team flying, first strike, trample, lifelink, and haste. This sudden keyword burst swings life totals dramatically and threatens lethal combat pressure over three response cycles. Card flow engines like SP//dr, Piloted by Peni, Spider-Man 2099, Miguel O'Hara, and Avengers Assemble! keep the hand full of reinforcements. To defend its board-centric strategy against sweepers, the deck leverages premium protection including Heroic Intervention, Teferi's Protection, and Spectacular Spider-Man, steadily closing the game out through wide, evasive attacks by Turn 8.
