Dragons That Smack v2.0 by user9387223

Format: Commander

Commander: Ganax, Astral Hunter and Acolyte of Bahamut

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ganax, Astral Hunter is the deck's primary engine: every Dragon entering creates a Treasure, while the Background Acolyte of Bahamut makes the first Dragon each turn cost {2} less. The main plan is Gruul dragon beatdown-ramp, play flying Dragons, then break through with power-doubler Thrakkus the Butcher, equipment, and overrun effects. A secondary combo line uses Ancient Copper Dragon, Aggravated Assault, and Bear Umbra to generate infinite combat phases. The deck is built around Ganax as a mana and value engine, with Thrakkus as a hidden secondary commander in the 99.
