Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Eldrazi Devoid midrange deck commanded by Herald of Kozilek. The primary strategy focuses on deploying the commander on Turn 3 to reduce the generic mana cost of all colorless and devoid spells by {1}. In the midgame, the deck curves out with low-cost Eldrazi drones such as Eldrazi Skyspawner, Nettle Drone, and Cultivator Drone to build board presence while generating Eldrazi Scion mana tokens. In the late game, the deck leverages high-mana Eldrazi like Eldrazi Devastator, Kozilek's Pathfinder, and Ruin Processor to pressure opponents through traditional combat. The deck supports this game plan with an extensive suite of devoid-themed countermagic, tempo bounce spells, and ingest/processor synergies. While it reliably establishes a functional board, its win conditions rely on fair combat across multiple turn cycles, leaving it vulnerable to mass board wipes and card advantage starvation.
