Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (WUBR) polymorph control deck piloted by Nissa, Leyline Tamer. By omitting low-cost utility creatures, every creature in the 99 is a colossal threat designed to end or dominate the game when put onto the battlefield. The strategy combines efficient 2-CMC mana rocks, cheap token producers like Dreadhorde Invasion and Skrelv's Hive, and interactive control elements to survive the early game. Upon reaching six to seven mana, the deck pivots into game-ending board states either by triggering Nissa's creature-cheating landfall ability, cheating her in with Hellkite Courser, or casting mass transfiguration spells such as Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny. Once high-value bombs such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Archfiend of Despair, and Serra's Emissary arrive, it protects them with premier defensive instants like Teferi's Protection and Flawless Maneuver before closing the game via overwhelming combat damage.
