Deck overview

This is a Talrand, Sky Summoner drake-tempo deck: it converts every instant and sorcery into a 2/2 flying Drake, then uses blue's best card draw and permission to keep opponents from answering the swarm. The primary plan is to land Talrand on turns 3-4, chain cheap instants/sorceries to build a wide flying board, and refuel with Bident of Thassa, Coastal Piracy, Curiosity Crafter, and Tide Skimmer. The secondary path uses Octavia, Living Thesis, Rise from the Tides, and Candlekeep Inspiration to turn an established board into lethal attackers. The commander is both engine and payoff; there is no true hidden commander. A single overrun-style enabler can end the game, but the deck needs time to accumulate both tokens and instants/sorceries in the graveyard.
