Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a focused Golgari Elfball tribal strategy helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of Elf creatures, leverage Lathril's combat damage to rapidly generate an army of 1/1 Elf Warrior tokens, and finish the table through either Lathril's activated drain ability, the ETB drain of Shaman of the Pack or Skemfar Shadowsage, or a pumped combat swarm with lords like Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Elvish Champion. The deck builds its board through dense tribal synergies - token doublers in Parallel Lives and Primal Vigor, repeatable token production from Imperious Perfect, Elvish Warmaster, and Wolverine Riders, and mana engines like Elvish Archdruid and Elven Chorus. The secondary plan leans on combat inevitability: a wide board of pumped Elves with evasion via forestwalk or trample. The deck is a classic "go wide and drain" build that pressures life totals from multiple angles while relying on its tribal density to overwhelm opponents.
