Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Black Zombie Tribal and Aristocrats strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan revolves around deploying high-power Zombie creatures and lords, then using Gisa's tap ability to sacrifice them and exponentially multiply the board into an overwhelming horde of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Once the swarm is established, the deck transitions into lethal combat swings amplified by tribal anthems such as Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Liliana's Mastery, or drains the table directly with aristocrat payoffs including Vengeful Dead, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Supported by 39 lands and a steady suite of on-curve draw engines like Cryptbreaker and Undead Augur, the deck operates smoothly across the midgame. While it lacks instant-speed stack interaction, artifact removal, and protective equipment for its commander, its dense functional redundancy ensures strong resilience and consistent board-flooding pressure.
