Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats strategy commanded by Minthara, Merciless Soul. It leverages low-cost sacrifice outlets, recurring creature fodder, and passive drain payoffs to gain steady card advantage and attrition control. Minthara accumulates permanent experience counters whenever permanents leave the battlefield, granting an escalating power anthem to all friendly creatures while protecting herself with ward. The deck controls opposing creature strategies through asymmetric sacrifice locks like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. To close the game, it transitions into either wide-board combat backed by high-power tokens or an infinite sacrifice loop utilizing Pitiless Plunderer, Ashnod's Altar, and Reassembling Skeleton paired with death-trigger drain artists such as Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat. Robust card draw and reanimation effects ensure resilient recovery across long games.
