Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Toxic and Proliferate strategy piloted by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice. In the opening turns, it deploys low-mana evasive infect and toxic creatures such as Blighted Agent, Plague Stinger, and Skrelv, Defector Mite, or casts direct spells like Prologue to Phyresis and Ichor Rats to ensure every opponent receives at least one poison counter. Once all opponents are infected, Atraxa, Praetors' Voice enters on turn 4 alongside supporting engines like Bloated Contaminator, Evolution Sage, and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus. These cards proliferate poison counters each turn without requiring further combat connections. By scaling poison counters non-interactively across the board, the deck bypasses conventional life totals and eliminates all three opponents simultaneously around turn 7. Efficient removal and targeted phase-out protection from Ripples of Potential maintain board stability while the proliferation engine closes the game.
