Death Toll

Format: Commander

Commander: Winter, Cynical Opportunist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari graveyard deck uses Winter, Cynical Opportunist to mill cards and reanimate powerful permanents at each end step using delirium. The deck fills the graveyard quickly with diverse card types, including artifact lands, kindred spells, and enchantments. Once delirium is active, Winter and secondary recursion engines cheat massive threats like Giant Adephage, Noxious Gearhulk, and Demolisher Spawn into play well ahead of curve. The deck wins primarily by overwhelming opponents with large recursive creatures, token swarms from cards like Rendmaw, Creaking Nest and Demonic Covenant, and Delirium-boosted combat damage.
