Deck overview

Kenrith, the Returned King serves as a five-color mana sink that ties the deck together: he gives the team haste and trample, pumps attackers, draws cards, gains life, and reanimates key pieces from any graveyard. The primary plan is to develop a legendary/Class board, then win through extra combat and myriad amplification via Karlach, Zariel, Legion Loyalty, and Duke Ulder Ravengard, with City on Fire multiplying the damage. Secondary lines are Sanguine Bond lifegain drain and graveyard recursion. No double-faced commander or single hidden commander exists; Jon Irenicus is the closest secret engine, and the deck remains functional without Kenrith, though noticeably slower.
