Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain tribal midrange strategy built around Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient Villain creatures, triggering repeatable connive abilities, and converting card filtering into tangible board advantage and life drain. Doctor Doom grants menace and connive at the beginning of combat on each of your turns, steadily growing attackers while punishing opponents with two direct life loss whenever a land card is discarded. Supporting Villains like Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon and Ultron, Unlimited amplify this engine by distributing +1/+1 counters across the board and creating robot tokens whenever creatures connive. Late-game finishers such as The Squadron Sinister and Living Laser provide haste, evasion, and explosive burst damage to close the game across multiple combat steps. Supported by Grixis creature removal and asymmetric sweepers like Kindred Dominance, the deck grinds down opposing life totals while sustaining consistent pressure through combat and discard-based attrition.
