Sermon of Slaughter by fusiondshadow

Format: Commander

Commander: Mogis, God of Slaughter

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mogis, God of Slaughter pilots a black-red group-slug deck that grinds the table with upkeep damage, forced sacrifice, and draw-punishers while blanking lifegain. The primary plan is cumulative attrition, amplified by Furnace of Rath, Dictate of the Twin Gods, Torbran, and Wound Reflection until a single upkeep or end step is lethal. The secondary lines are the Exquisite Blood/Sanguine Bond loop and Dualcaster Mage/Twinflame token combo. Mogis is a durable indestructible pain source and sacrifice threat, but the deck doesn't depend on him; there is no hidden commander - Vial Smasher is just extra value. The list aims for a mid-game kill or two-card finish instead of fast mana.
