Commander: Joel, Resolute Survivor and Ellie, Brick Master

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Joel and Ellie form a Jund token-sacrifice engine. Joel turns each token death into a +1/+1 counter and a card, while Ellie manufactures Cordyceps tokens whenever anyone attacks an opponent, making combat itself a token engine. The primary plan is to mass-produce fodder with Bitterblossom, Dreadhorde Invasion, Awakening Zone, and Chatterfang, then drain the table through Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Mirkwood Bats, or The Meathook Massacre. Secondary plans are wide token combat with Tendershoot Dryad and Grismold. Hidden Abby, Merciless Soldier can be cast from the 99 for a burst of five-plus tokens before being given away.
