Deck overview

This Abzan deck helmed by Ravos, Soultender and Kodama of the East Tree operates as a political group-hug engine that converts symmetrical resource distribution into personal advantage. By providing cards and mana to the entire table through engines like Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and Selvala, Explorer Returned, it fuels asymmetric triggers like Smothering Tithe, Trouble in Pairs, and Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff. These resources enable miraculous top-decks and power out primary win conditions such as Approach of the Second Sun or Angel of Destiny. The list shields itself behind potent defensive instants like Teferi's Protection, Inkshield, and Everybody Lives!, navigating multiplayer combat while drawing through its library to execute a decisive finish.
