The Serpent Society by GMan1997

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Serpent Society leads a Golgari attrition and infect strategy that merges deathtouch creature combat with poison proliferation. Your early turns deploy cheap deathtouch creatures to control combat, deter blockers, and leverage the commander's sacrifice trigger alongside edict effects like Grave Pact to wipe out opposing boards. After applying initial poison counters through early toxic attackers, infectious spells, or Ichor Rats, the deck pivots into mass proliferation using Evolution Sage, Bloated Contaminant, and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting. Game-ending pressure comes from proliferating poison counters to ten, alpha strikes enhanced by Triumph of the Hordes, or large flying combat swings from Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon.
