Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Jund -1/-1 counter attrition engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The strategy revolves around placing -1/-1 counters across both friendly and opposing boards to trigger asymmetric card draw and life drain. Early turns focus on mana fixing and setting up token generators such as Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons and Nest of Scarabs. In the midgame, Auntie Ool, Cursewretch turns counter placement into massive card advantage while blighting enemy creatures. The deck locks down opposing boards through Kulrath Knight, Maha, Its Feathers Night, and Archfiend of Depravity, preventing opponents from attacking or maintaining creature presence. Victory is achieved by grinding down opposing life totals with Obelisk Spider, All Will Be One, and Massacre Wurm, supplemented by lethal combat swings from an overwhelming token army and large evasive threats.
