Life Gain (Addison) by Usashimi92

Format: Commander

Commander: Kambal, Consul of Allocation

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kambal, Consul of Allocation leads an Orzhov lifegain and drain deck that wins by turning every point of life gained into counters, cards, and opponent life loss. Kambal taxes noncreature spells for 2 life while your own lifegain triggers payoffs like Ajani's Pridemate, Essence Channeler, and Starscape Cleric. Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim acts as a hidden commander, converting creature entries and deaths into drain. Bats and clerics provide synergy with Zoraline, Cosmos Caller and Moonstone Harbinger. With no infinite combo, the deck grinds through incremental drain, combat with growing threats, and recursion from Case of the Uneaten Feast and Cleric Class to outlast three opponents.
