Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher as a reanimating commander and scaling aerial threat at the helm of an aristocrats attrition shell. The primary game plan curves early mana rocks into sacrifice enablers such as Fleshbag Marauder and Accursed Marauder. Once Carmen lands, every sacrifice across the table places +1/+1 counters on her and gains life. Carmen attacks each turn to return key permanents directly from the graveyard to the battlefield, creating an engine that strips opposing boards while advancing your own board state. Supported by stax pieces like Braids, Cabal Minion and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, the deck grinds opponents out of resources. Free and low-cost protection spells defend Carmen while she closes the game through commander damage and aristocrat burn triggers.
