Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov commands a low-to-the-ground Mardu Vampire aggro deck that weaponizes his Eminence ability directly from the command zone. Every cheap Vampire spell creates a 1/1 token, quickly generating a massive board presence without needing to cast the commander. The primary plan floods the board with aggressive low-drop Vampires and scales their damage using tribal lords like Cordial Vampire, Captivating Vampire, and Bloodline Keeper. The deck converts this wide presence into lethal damage through multi-opponent drain from Sanctum Seeker and Vito, explosive overrun turns with Akroma's Will, or damage doubling with Bloodletter of Aclazotz, overwhelming opposing life totals before sweepers can stabilize.
