Deck overview

This mono-black Commander deck is built around Ghoulcaller Gisa, blending classic Zombie tribal synergies with a resilient aristocrats sacrifice engine. The primary strategy accelerates into Gisa and high-power Zombie fodder, using Gisa's activated ability to exponentially multiply power into a wide board of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Supported by premier mana accelerators like Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, and Cabal Coffers, the deck rapidly establishes board dominance. A dense suite of unconditional tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Imperial Seal) ensures reliable access to game-ending anthems like Coat of Arms, asymmetric board wipers like Noxious Ghoul, and massive drain payoffs like Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Ayara, First of Locthwain. Graveyard recursion through Reanimate, Lord of the Undead, and Gravecrawler provides strong recovery against opposing disruption.
