Deck overview

This deck is a Naya combat control and goad strategy commanded by Marisi, Breaker of the Coil. Its game plan focuses on deploying cheap, evasive attackers and token generators early, curving directly into Marisi to trigger full-table goad effects while silencing opposing spells during combat. By forcing opponents to attack each other each turn, the deck asymmetrically preserves its own life total and board state while whittling down enemy resources and life totals through forced combat attrition. To close the game, the deck leverages formidable combat multipliers such as Jetmir, Nexus of Revels, Beastmaster Ascension, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Taunt from the Rampart, turning accumulated creature tokens and unblockable attackers into lethal swings. An efficient suite of board protection spells shields against wipe attempts, while combat-triggered draw engines sustain card flow. With no nonland tutors or infinite combos, it delivers a fair, highly political combat-centric experience.
