Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green Stompy build centered on Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan accelerates mana on Turn 1 with one-drop mana elves, curves into disproportionately statted 3-mana and 4-mana creatures like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Rhonas the Indomitable, and uses their collective power to reduce Ghalta's casting cost to {G}{G} by Turn 4. Once deployed, Ghalta's 12/12 trample body combines with supporting beaters to apply overwhelming combat pressure. Card draw engines keyed to high power, such as Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise, ensure the deck sustains its card advantage. Overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede and damage doublers like Unnatural Growth turn large boards into decisive table eliminations by Turn 7. While vulnerable to mass sweepers, the high density of standalone threats ensures steady recovery.
