Deck overview

This five-color Commander deck centers on Garth One-Eye as both a versatile value engine and a game-ending combo outlet. The primary strategy accelerates through twenty low-cost mana dorks and rock ramp pieces on the first two turns, establishing perfect five-color mana fixing across ten fetchlands and ten shocklands. On Turn 3 or 4, the deck deploys a global haste enabler such as Rising of the Day or Thousand-Year Elixir, allowing Garth to tap immediately upon entering the battlefield. Once active, Garth taps to cast Black Lotus for explosive burst mana and Braingeyser for massive card replenishment. The primary win condition pairs Garth with Displacer Kitten: casting the Black Lotus token triggers Kitten to blink Garth, resetting his abilities to produce infinite mana and deck all opponents with repeated Braingeysers. A suite of free counterspells including Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protects the combo during its execution window.
