Deck overview

This Tazri, Beacon of Unity deck is a five-color midrange deck centered on the Party mechanic with dungeon and Gate sub-themes. The core strategy curves out low-cost Clerics, Rogues, Warriors, and Wizards—boosted by versatile Changelings like Mirror Entity and Changeling Outcast—to rapidly assemble a full four-creature party. Once assembled, the deck leverages party-scaling payoffs such as The Destined Warrior, Squad Commander, Burakos, Party Leader, and Jodah, the Unifier to overpower opponents in combat while generating dungeon value and Treasure tokens. Tazri, Beacon of Unity sits in the command zone as a discounted mana sink that repeatedly digs six cards deep to refill the hand with relevant creature types. Defensive pieces like Selfless Spirit, Linvala, Shield of Sea Gate, and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar safeguard the board against disruption, while an alternate Gate package headlined by Maze's End and Reshape the Earth provides an inevitable late-game win condition if combat stalls.
