Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange strategy led by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian that focuses on +1/+1 and keyword counters. The early game establishes mana development and counter distributors like Denry Klin, Editor in Chief and Arwen, Mortal Queen. Once Tidus enters the battlefield, moving counters and attacking triggers Cheer to draw extra cards and proliferate existing counters across the board. In the midgame, engines like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Branching Evolution, and Forgotten Ancient accelerate stat growth, while utility creatures provide flying, trample, double strike, and shield counters. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging unblockable effects from Champion of Lambholt and massive stat scaling from Perrie, the Pulverizer. Built-in shield counters and spells like Inspiring Call protect key pieces against destruction wipes, creating a resilient, snowballing creature strategy.
