Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black discard and aristocrats strategy commanded by The Raven Man. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost symmetrical and asymmetric discard engines such as Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, Oppression, and Mindslicer. These engines strip opponents of their hands, denying them resources and reactive interaction. The commander converts these continuous discard triggers into an evasive army of 1/1 flying Bird tokens, which serve as sacrificial fodder, skullclamp targets, and combat pressure. Asymmetric payoffs like Waste Not, Tergrid, God of Fright, Geth's Grimoire, and Liliana's Caress turn opposing resource loss into massive card, mana, and life disparities.
