Deck overview

This deck leverages Deadpool, Trading Card alongside a high-density suite of clone effects and heavy-hitting Rakdos creatures to overwhelm opponents with explosive enter-the-battlefield triggers and combat damage. The game plan establishes a powerful centerpiece creature by Turn 4, such as Terror of the Peaks, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, or Shredder, Shadow Master. On Turn 5, the deck duplicates these threats using spells like Saw in Half, Molten Duplication, and Twinflame, generating massive life swings and direct burn. Supported by low-cost redirection spells like Deflecting Swat and cheap reanimation spells such as Reanimate, the deck quickly rebuilds from removal and defends its critical turns. Forced combat engines like Kardur, Doomscourge and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos redirect pressure away from your life total while whittling down enemy defenses, allowing your token copies to close out the game around Turn 7.
