Deck overview

This list is a competitive combo deck centered on The Gitrog Monster. It leverages high-velocity fast mana and 1-CMC mana dorks to deploy Gitrog ahead of schedule on Turn 2 or 3. Once Gitrog is on the battlefield alongside a free discard outlet like Putrid Imp or Noose Constrictor, the deck initiates the classic Dakmor dredge loop with Dakmor Salvage. Replacing Gitrog's draw triggers with dredge allows the deck to repeatedly mill cards and recycle its graveyard using Eldrazi titans Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre. This generates arbitrary card draw and infinite mana via recurring rituals. The deck protects its win attempts with efficient silencers such as Allosaurus Shepherd and Veil of Summer, then closes the table on the same turn using Finale of Devastation or infinite Assassin's Trophy loops to strip opposing boards and swing for lethal.
