counter army by user6439057

Format: Commander

Commander: Sovereign Okinec Ahau

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Selesnya +1/+1 counter deck that builds a wide, tall creature board and then uses Sovereign Okinec Ahau to convert existing counter surpluses into enormous combat damage. The commander is the primary payoff, while token engines like Rhys, Jacked Rabbit, and March of the Multitudes supply board mass. Secondary paths are overrun effects, infect via Triumph of the Hordes, and Altar of Dementia milling. There is no hidden commander; Rhys the Redeemed is a strong support engine, but Sovereign remains the deck's identity. The plan is combat-focused and resilient to wipes, with no true infinite combo.
